Greetings Friends! In case you missed our Wine Tasting Gala fundraiser, we’re coming at you with a recap.

Firstly, thank you to our recent donors! This includes our two new lifetime members and a contribution made through the Fidelity Charitable Donor-Advised Fund!

As a reminder, we updated our website (https://www.friendsofmaldenlibrary.org/) and now have an online donation fund through Give Butter if you know of folks who would like to support the Friends of the Malden Public Library (https://givebutter.com/fmpldonate). If you are interested in becoming a lifetime member, the cost is $500 when it comes time to renew your membership at the end of the year.

Our annual Wine Tasting Gala fundraiser was an incredible success. Guests came dresses in their finest florals in accordance to our “Spring Bloom” theme and enjoyed wine and mocktails from Kappy’s Fine Wine & Spirits (Rte 1, Malden). We thank Kappy’s Fine Wine & Spirits for being a great partner who also donated 10% of all wine orders placed that evening.

We raised over $10,000 from the ticket sales, donations, silent auction, and wine and mocktail purchases. The Friends of the Malden Public Library are grateful for the support of all donors and sponsors to the Wine Tasting Gala, without whom the event would not be possible. The Friends request that you patronize the following sponsors this summer to let them know you appreciate their support of the Malden Public Library.
